It was announced today that horror fan favorite director Eli Roth will be taking the reigns as director and executive producer for new horror series “Hemlock Grove”. The series is being made exclusively for Netflix. It’s based on a book Brian McGreevy who will also be scripting the series.
There’s nothing like a team-up. Whether it’s Bogie and Bacall. Marvel Two-in-One. Or tag team wrestling. The joining forces of two talents is always something to fill one with excitement and anticipation.
So when we heard Paranormal Activity producer Steven Schneider was teaming up with Hostel producer Mike Fleiss, on the latter’s directorial debut, we had to share it with you. Sure, we don’t knowing anything about the project. Other than the fact that it will be low budget horror. Duh! But it’s still exciting. And we will be following the development of this project closely.
This trailer plays up the film’s comic elements. But we think people going into this film expecting a rip-roaring comedy are going to be hugely disappointed.
But people expecting another slice of deep dish Tarantino will come away full and satisfied!
