Marc Singer Joins Cast of “V” Remake!

It has just been announced that Marc Singer (above), who starred in the original V miniseries, will play a role in the remake.  The announcement did not specify the character he will play.  But, according to Digital Spy, he will play …

Lars Tremont, a member of a secret organisation. The group, made up of politicians and military leaders, is said to be concerned that the Visitors are not looking for peace on Earth.

This is all exciting news for fans of the original series, and it follows on news of Jane Badler resuming her role as Diana in the new series.

This new trailer for Tron: Legacy is party of a Nokia viral campaign.   You’ll notice the Nokia N8 is featured in the trailer.  But this trailer also allows you to see some longer clips of the de-aging tech used on Jeff Bridges.  It isn’t seamless.  You can tell it’s an effect.  But, still, it’s quite impressive.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 took in $125.1 million on its opening weekend.  This represents the highest opening for the series thus far, easily cruising its broom past the previous record holder Golblet of Fire which took in $102.7 million in its opening weekend.  This take also represents the sixth highest opening weekend gross ever.
