AUDIO: Radio Mystery Theater – “It’s Murder, Mr. Lincoln”


In honor of President’s Day, here’s a thrilling audio drama involving a man who would one day become president.  A drama that claims:


“It’s Murder, Mr. Lincoln” originally aired on the “CBS Mystery Theater” on March 18, 1975.  However, this version was created later for rebroadcast.  The main content of the program is the same.  But E.G. Marshall’s hosting sections are replaced by identical ones done by series creator Himan Brown.  The graphic above features an etching of Abraham Lincoln’s law office in Springfield, Illinois.

    Great post! We just went on a murder mystery train on Friday and watched that Tom Hank’s special “Killing Lincoln” last night so we’ve been in conspiracy mode and this radio theatre is right up our alley!
