ART: MARS ATTACKS CARDS on Flickr and PDF!

Thanks to our friends at Bleeding Cool, we were pointed in the direction of a full set of Mars Attacks Cards available on Flickr.   The Mars Attacks Cards were a series of bubble cards released in 1962 by TOPPS.  It was a favorite with children of the era, but parents groups criticized it for its violent and sexual content which finally led to the series being discontinued.  In the nineties, Tim Burton used the trading cards as the inspiration for his movie of the same name.

But we didn’t think Flickr is the best way to view these fine bits of early sixties art.  So we created a PDF which you can view or download here.
