Photo: Activity on Russian Volcano!

NASA’s Earth Observing Satellite (EO-1) caught this stunning image of activity on the Shiveluch volcano on Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula.  The volcano has been active for the last decade, including several dome collapses, incidents of lava flow, and smoke and ash plumes.
