Jim Morrison’s Ghost Haunts Mexican Eatery

Formerly “The Doors” office and recording studio, the Santa Monica restaurant “Mexico” now has special magaritas at the bar,  Mexican delights on the menu, and Jim Morrison’s ghost in the unisex bathroom.  As the owner told AOL News:

You feel it here almost every day, throughout the entire place, but especially near this spot.

In the days of “The Doors”, the bathroom space was a recording booth where notable hits were recorded, including “LA Woman”.  Another employee agrees about the ghostly presense of Morrison:

Jim Morrison is definitely still here … Funky things happen all the time we can’t explain. Lights popping on and off at weird times. But when that bathroom door handle jiggles by itself, that’s the weirdest sign. It’s totally inexplicable.

So next time you’re in Santa Monica stop off at Mexico for a margarita, a burrito … and a ghost sighting.

  1. Find music that is similar to Nine Inch Nails Ghosts and the quieter NIN music
