Kristen Stewart Slams TWILIGHT Fans!

In an interview with NYLON magazine Ms. Stewart had this to say about Twilight fans:

Anywhere we’d go for Twilight was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it’s thoughtless, as well…You get a slew of all these bullshit questions like, ‘What’s it like to kiss a vampire?’ and ‘How much do you love Robert?’ Then you’ll get one that’s actually real, but you’re like, ‘No, I can’t right now, I can’t even consider [it].

Despite this clear diss of her fanbase,  some are already trying to spin her comments.

Lisa Gornstein on the website The Answer B!tch had this to say:

Sure, casting director Bonnie Gillespie tells me, some studio publicist may give the whining actress a “hand-slapping” after seeing a quote like that, but most Hollywood players know that when the talent complains, it’s really more about business. And more often than not, the producers hear the call and give the actors something, like, say, dollars, to shut them up. And then everyone goes back to their emerald palaces or wherever it is that they live.

But fans don’t seem to be buying it.  And the net is bouncing with “spoiled actress” rants.

Ah, the pitfalls of being young and successful in Hollywood.

  1. kristen playes bella sooooooo good in twilight the movie she acts soooooo much like the bella in the twilight book

  2. The Moon Says:

Fine, what does this have to do with the topic anyway?

  3. The Moon Says:

I find it to some degree comprehensible how she reacts. If I imagine being surrounded by a screaming crowd of kids round the clock I’d probably go nuts as well

  4. Understandable, but probably something she should have kept to herself.

Either way, not the hugest deal in the world.

  5. her portrayal of bella was BAD please, with the stuttering at the last scene at the hospital when edward tried to break it up to the scene when she walked out from her father. Frankly, would be happier if she left the twilight series, but it would cheapen the franchise a tad to suddenly change the main actress. oh well.
