I was a Teenage Frankenstein Meets H.P. Lovecraft

Transition Entertainment is launching a new T.V. series based on H.P. Lovecraft’s story “Herbert West: Re-Animator,” and other elements of the Lovecraft mythos.  They describe the show as “Frankenstein for a new millennium.”  The series has no connection to the popular Lawrence Gordon Re-Animator films of the eighties.

As we all know, Lovecraft has something of checkered career as far as film adaptation go.  This might not help that record.

From the casting sheet, it looks like very much like a teen take on the mythos.  Smallville meets Lovecraft?  Hmmm … should we be afraid?  Or very, very afraid?
