According to Horror Express, and other sources, Gillian Anderson confirmed that long rumored X-Files 3 should be out by 2012. The actress also confirmed the project is likely to be direct to DVD.
We welcome this. Not only because we’re huge “X-Files” fans. But we disliked where the last film left the franchise. We’d love to something a bit more upbeat and open-ended.
Paul Goat Allen of Barnes and Noble’s Paranormal Book Club expanded on his positive review with more comments today.
Here’s how he concluded:
I give Ghost Radio an A+. Equal parts X-Files and Twilight Zone, early Stephen King and classic Algernon Blackwood, this novel has everything horror and dark fantasy fans could possibly want. It’s cool, it’s savvy, it’s creepy, I loved it – even the “contemplative” ending.
