Or at least that’s what our pals at Blood Disgusting tell us:
If you skipped the film in theaters (and it seems a lot of you did), then you’re lucking out with this release, as it’s the superior version of a flawed film, but unlike me, you won’t have to watch the stuff you didn’t like the first time all over again. The extras are all quite good, and the transfer is immaculate – it’s just a shame the film itself shows the scars of its lengthy battle to get there.

Twihards get your screeches of glee ready, here’s the latest trailer for Eclipse, then next film in the Twilight Saga:
Actually that looks rather epic. Even some non-fans might be swayed by that vamp/werewolf battle at the end.
New Moon snagged the top spot at the box office for a second week running. The teen screamer earned $42.8 million over the Thanksgiving weekend, inching out The Blind Spot‘s $40.1 million take. This brings New Moon’s domestic box office total to $230 million. Not too shabby for a film with a production budget of $50 million.
Still 19 days to wait till the release of New Moon. Here’s another clip to keep you sane.

The excellent new British series “Being Human” will begin airing on BBC America on July, 25 2009.
The series follows a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost as they try to live normal lives. And though the premise sounds like a comedy, it’s more serious than you might expect. Though the comic moments, when they come, are excellent.
But, whatever you think of the premise, just tune in … it’s one of the best horror shows in years. And here’s a trailer to whet your appetite:
