Netflix Expands Streaming Horror Offerings

Posted in Movies, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror, Television, Video with tags , , , , , , , , , on September 3, 2010 by ghostradioworld

Since it’s inception, Netflix streaming has been a winning idea.  Movies and TV shows streamed right to your computer (or television) any time you want them.  However, for the most part, their offerings in horror have been rather weak.  All that has change recently.

And thanks to our pals at Dread Central you can see the whole list, plus what’s on the way later in the month, right at their site.  We were considering compiling such a list, but we’re truly thankful that our pals at Dread central have done it for us.  So click here for the full list.

But there are some films on the list worth highlighting, such as Friday the 13th 1-6, Amityville Horror 1-3,  Species 1-3, Island of Dr. Moreau (1977),  Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1977), Count Yorga: Vampire, CarrieLaserblast, The Last House on the Left, and the Vincent Price horror classics The Fly, Witchfinder General, Dr. Phibes Rises Again, and Theatre of Blood.

So fire up your favorite streaming device, pop some popcorn and enjoy your very own horror marathon this holiday weekend.
