If you believe in vampires today, you’re labelled as crazy, a freak, or one of the more aggressive fans to the Twilight Saga. But this wasn’t true 500 years ago. Such belief was positively mundane. Especially in Europe. And a recent archeological dig in Bulgaria offers further evidence of this fact.

Kimbra Hickey the hand model who posed for the Twilight cover (above) appears to a be a few pints short of a blood bank. Or, to put it more simply, she seems downright loopy.
She told the New York Post recently that she spends her days haunting local bookstores, alerting customers of her presence in the cover photo. She also carries an apple in her purse, so she can recreate the immortal image. And she has been known to shout “Those are my Hands!” to people reading Twilight on the subway.
Hmmm … and we thought Twihards were crazy.
Twilight Saga Eclipse takes in an estimate of $68 million on its Wednesday opening, breaking the record held by Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for the largest Wednesday opening ever. This isn’t surprising. But welcome news for H’wood which is suffering from a weak summer both critically and financially.
