Google’s really been rockin’ the doodles of late. And today they honor the birthday of H.G. Wells with this one (above) of UFO-like tripods ravaging a village.
Wells was not only one of our first science fiction writers, he was one of the best. He wrote most of his classics more than one hundred years ago, and they still make thrilling reading today.
