VIDEO: Extraterrestrial!

This film opens in limited release this weekend.  The studio describes it thus:

When Julio wakes up in a strange apartment after a night of partying, he’s pleasantly surprised to discover it belongs to a beautiful one-night-stand he can’t remember – Julia. What’s already an awkward situation is made even more so when they discover a giant flying saucer hovering above the city, which is now deserted. Now Julio must contend with a jealous ex-boyfriend, an eccentric neighbor — and very possibly the end of the world!

Eli Roth to Direct Horror Series for Netflix!

It was announced today that horror fan favorite director Eli Roth will be taking the reigns as director and executive producer for new horror series “Hemlock Grove”.  The series is being made exclusively for Netflix.  It’s based on a book Brian McGreevy who will also be scripting the series.

We’re not too impressed by this vid.  In addition to the costume-like look of the creature, the YouTube poster’s description is too vague:

Residents of this small Pa. town are concerned of recent sightings and strange noises being heard at night of what appears to be some sort of big foot human looking type creature. The creature though, is white in color. A homeowner captured this footage after they heard a disturbance in the back yard of their wooded property. This homeowner and others in this town had previously heard strange noises and disturbances for the last two weeks or so prior to this being captured on film.

Why isn’t the “homeowner” named?  Why didn’t they post it themselves?  Why is this only the second thing this user has posted on YouTube?  All these questions raise major red flags.
