Did you favorite show just get cancelled? Would you do anything to get it back? but you don’t know where to start or what to do. Well, a new website has been created that could be just what you’re looking for. The site (www.iwantmyshowback.com) attempts to harness this energy and help get any or all cancelled shows back on the air.

As “The Event” inches today likely cancellation the Monday airing dropped a tenth of a point to a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demo. Although it won’t help “The Event” this low consistency is something future programmers need to look at. Further analysis of the demo is also needed.
“The Event” once again pulled a rating of 1.2 in the 18-49 demo for the third week running. Some time a in the future a rating this low, but this consistent, will become a valuable thing. But we don’t think we’re there yet.
Despite roaring back with a cracking plot, and a bunch of well-staged set pieces, “The Event” has made no impact ratings-wise since it’s return. And last night was no exception. It came even with last week’s low, scoring a 1.2 with adults 18-49. Ratings like this make cancellation likely. Too bad. This show has real promise. We fear that the overall low ratings of NBC are dragging this show down. And that on another network it might comfortably be heading to a second season.
Or have they just lost their collective minds? Despite the cancel worthy ratings of “Chuck” and new shows “Chase”, and “Undercovers”, the network has given them all additional orders. “Chuck” and “Chase” have gotten full series orders, and “Undercovers” has gotten an additional script order.
Some have suggested this is based on a dislike of their mid-season replacement shows. Or, with the change of management, they simply don’t want to justify any shows currently in development chosen by the previous programming team. Or, maybe, it is just the desperation or madness suggested above. But, however you slice it, it’s an odd move.
