Mike Mignola Says HELLBOY 3 not on the Horizon

In an interview with Newsarama, Hellboy creator Mike Mignola says:

Del Toro is still kinda the Hellboy movie guy.  And he’s sitting in New Zealand working on The Hobbit.  So … I … I don’t know what to tell you.  Guillermo is a busy guy.  He’s in demand.  He’s got a lot of different things he wants to do.  If and when he wants to do a Hellboy 3 that would be great.  But there’s not talks right now about somebody else doing a Hellboy movie.

So it looks like no Hellboy 3 for quite a while to come … if ever.  Bad news for Hellboy fans.

Romero to Remake Argento Film in 3D!

According to Variety, George Romero (Night of the Living Dead) has announced plans to remake Dario Argento’s giallo classic Deep Red (Profondo Rosso) in 3D!  The film will use a screenplay penned by Dario’s brother Claudio.
