According to Variety, Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures is launching a new company called Spooky Pictures to produce horror films for a family audience. The company has already negotiated a first look deal with Columbia.
Their first film will be a remake of a the Danish thriller “The Substitute,” directed by Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose).
