John Carpenter Back in the Director's Chair!

This week, John Carpenter began directing his first film since 2001′s Ghosts of Mars.  The film, entitled The Ward, takes place in a mental hospital where one of the inmates in haunted by a ghost.  The film stars Amber Heard and Danielle Panabaker.  Shooting had been delayed since March.

Horror fans have been displeased with Carpenter’s last few efforts.  But everyone’s pleased to have Carpenter helming a new project.
