Google Honors Nikola Tesla!
Only a few decades ago Nikola Tesla, the inventor of Alternating Current (AC) , was a fairly obscure figure. A man known primarily to science geeks and people with a fascination for bizarre science. But each year he becomes more and more prominent in popular culture. Both for his actual contributions to science and for largely mythical stories about inventions he supposedly created.
Nowadays if an anachronistic science gadget needs to be explained in a Science fiction movie or book, it’s usually credited to Nikola Tesla!
New evidence of Tesla’s growing importance is the fact Google marked the anniversary of his birth today with the following special google logo:
If you roll your cursor over this logo you receive the message “Happy Birthday Nikola Tesla!”
For more information about Nikola Tesla click here. Or consult the many excellent books on his life and inventions. We’d especially like to recommend Margaret Cheney’s book Tesla: Man Out of Time.

The man was a visionary genius. His A/C three phase power system is still the worlds best system of generating and delivering electricity. Without his creations all the technology we use today would not be possible!

tesla was more than a genius. if read more about him and his life you would find it very interesting that he invented more of what we use ever day of our lives. his great inventions were kept out of history and school books and credit was given to others .there are good books and other reading on line about his life . read some of them . the hair on your neck will stand up . his name should read right up front with EDISON , INSTEIN , WESTINGHOUSE AND BELL . TESLA DID MORE FOR HUMANITY AND DIED A POOR MAN NOT MANY EVER HEARD OFF

Maybe you should also consider spelling things right as well. If you’re going to try and sound “educated” than at least spell things correctly, also on a further note, I agree with you though. Tesla was an amazing man, and an absolute genius and not enough people have heard about him, which is unfortunate.

Let’s not pick on people for spelling errors. We all make them from time to time. And, typos or not, you seemed to understand Jim’s point.
